New Bentley for 90th Birthday
Today Bentley Motors celebrates its 90th anniversary. Founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919, the first production car was delivered in September 1921. During the 1920's Bentley produced an array of iconic motor cars. Whilst at the same time, the exploits of the immortal Bentley Boys, forged Bentley's proud sporting pedigree, winning the legendary Le Mans endurance race five times between 1924 and 1930.
To celebrate this anniversary Bentley are pleased to announce that the all-new grand Bentley, and its name, will be revealed at Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance, in Monterey, California on 16 August. Signalling a new era in British luxury motoring.
The all-new grand Bentley captures the 1920s 'grand touring' spirit of the Bentley Boys – effortless driving, exclusivity and adventure. A unique fusion of elegant design, craftsmanship and technological innovation, the new model embodies the potent yet luxuriously refined driving experience that only a Bentley can offer.
It is fitting that the 90th anniversary will be marked by an all-new car that continues W.O. Bentley's ambitions. Designed, engineered and built in Crewe, the home of Bentley Motors for over 60 years, working on the model has been a 'once in a lifetime experience' for many of those involved.
