Oh good grief !

With car makers the world over suffering, and seemingly invincible manufacturers like Toyota posting losses for the first time ever, Mercedes thumb their noses at the whole idea and produce one of the most insane cars ever designed. The Sir Stirling Moss limited edition McLaren SLR. So limited, in fact, that you will only be allowed to buy one of these €750,000 monsters if you already own the "standard," SLR. Only 75 will be made.

Named after  Sir Stirling Moss for his legendary win at the 1955 Mille Miglia, the vehicle boasts some pretty impressive credentials. 650 hp V8 powerplant from the SLR 722 edition; 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. I want one so bad. If only I had had the foresight (and money) to buy the standard version……
